Merry Belated Christmas!
Now that it's officially 2012, why don't I talk about our Christmas decorations?
This year I was requested to decorate our mantlepiece, and I decided to do one of those glitter-explosion projects that I've been pinning and obsessing over.
So I made this
charming little sign (with red velvet ribbon from Anthropologie) and I'm totally in love with it.
The only bad part? My parents' entire garage is covered in glitter. It looks like the Snow Queen (she was always glittery, wasn't she?) died in there.
But it's awesome. These pictures are not from me, but I promise to take some photos eventually to share my craftiness. I was very impressed with myself.
The tree you see at the top of this post is not mine. It's
Oana Befort's.
I have seen a lot of blog-world Christmas trees this year and I think hers is my favorite.
I am especially smitten with the little mushrooms (and I know a
friend who will be too!).
Oana is also an amazing
illustrator (check out that little owl in the picture below!), and I don't doubt we will be seeing a lot more of her in the months and years to come.
I am in love with everything she does.
